# Embrace Your True Self: The Power of Self-Discovery and Prioritization

For the past four years, I have embarked on a journey to be 100% myself and create a positive impact around me. During this time, I have learned more than in my entire life. If my experiences can help you save time and find clarity, that would be fantastic!
Transitioning from one industry to another, especially into personal development and entrepreneurship, can be challenging—especially if you’re not familiar with at least 5% of the landscape. But I’m not here to complain.

In our lives, we often forget ourselves and what truly matters amidst work, family, and social media. So, let me start with this question:

### What is essential for you personally, as a family member, and professionally?

What are your guiding principles in each aspect of your life? This question is crucial as it defines our conduct, our ability to manage situations, our relationships, and our overall life.

So, personally, as a family member, and in your job, what are your goals, vision, and aspirations?

### The Eisenhower Matrix: Prioritize Your Tasks

One concept that has significantly helped me is the **Eisenhower Matrix**, also known as the urgency-importance matrix. This tool divides tasks into four categories:

1. **Important and Urgent Tasks**: These require immediate action and have a significant impact on long-term goals. It’s essential to address them promptly to avoid negative consequences.

2. **Important but Not Urgent Tasks**: These tasks also impact long-term goals but don’t require immediate action. They should be planned and scheduled to ensure they’re not neglected. Reflect on your long-term vision: What do you want to achieve in the next ten years? Perhaps it’s starting a family, owning a home, exploring Antarctica, gaining recognition in your field, or completing an Ironman.

3. **Urgent but Not Important Tasks**: These tasks may seem urgent but have minimal impact on long-term objectives. Assess and delegate these tasks to focus on what truly matters—like planning vacations or organizing your workspace.

4. **Not Urgent and Not Important Tasks**: These tasks contribute little to your long-term goals and don’t require immediate action. It’s best to eliminate or postpone them, as they can be distractions.

By utilizing this matrix, you can better organize your time and efforts, focusing on tasks that matter most—whether urgent or not. This approach maximizes productivity, reduces last-minute stress, and aligns you with your long-term vision.

### Taking Action

If you wish to work with this matrix, begin by listing tasks from category 4 (not important and not urgent) to category 1 (important and urgent). Apply this to three aspects of your life: personal, family, and work, and notice the direct positive impact it has.

Based on this concept, what insights come to mind? What feelings arise?

I love these questions because they are profound and lead to rapid self-discovery. I invite you to test this approach and witness its powerful effects!

On a personal note, this realization helped me stop wasting time on unproductive tasks. I continually return to this framework to advance and thrive. I firmly believe our brilliance is linked to our long-term goals and the prioritization of tasks.

While mastering this process takes time, the positive effects are substantial! Never forget that these small positive actions are the foundation for something grand and limitless.
I know you can do this!
Wishing you all wonderful things ahead!

I've spent over a decade in Asia, initially as a professional football player in France and Hong Kong. In early 2020, I faced personal and work-related challenges, including fertility issues and work-related stress, prompting me to reassess my priorities.

I decided to refocus on what truly mattered to me, quitting football, achieving athletic milestones, and studying psychology. This transformative period led me to become a coach, emphasizing simplicity, sharing, sports, and confidence in my approach. I firmly believe in an individual's potential to achieve their goals with the right mindset and aim to inspire and guide leaders and teams towards success.
